Since Disturbed last CD (Ten Thousand Fists) on SixSteps records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. When you buy a Disturbed album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This is the first studio album from Disturbed since bad diagnosis in 2005. Disturbed is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Just Stop is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Disturbed ever produced. Lyrics of Guarded are precise and evocative. Deify one is one of the better boring ones. Stricken is a bit different from Disturbed stereotypical stuff. I’m Alive defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. Overburdend on Ten Thousand Fists is solid and easy to listen to. This is one hell of a track. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Music in Land of Confusion is astounding as in all tracks of Ten Thousand Fists. In Sacred Life you won’t find any flashy solos. Pain Redefined is a medium tempo tune. Avarice gives good insight into the truths.
