Self-described as Dance with lots of words, Dance - Various Artists comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. fourteen years ago, Dance - Various Artists briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Perfect (Exceeder) (Radio Edit) (Mason Vs Princess Superstar)”. It has been fourteen years Dance - Various Artists’ last studio CD, “Pacha 2007″ which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. I wish that “Pacha 2007″ album was instrumental.
This song stands out greatly from the others. Miracle (Icarus Remix) (Cascada) - Dance - Various Artists first major hit. We Play House (Radio Edit) (DJ Chus & David Penn Pres. Soulgrand Feat. Concha Buika) catches attention immediately, The Creeps (Fedde Le Grand Remix Edit) (Camille Jones) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Love To Love You Baby (David Vendetta) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Paris Four Hundred (Mylo) (3:32) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! When listening to Yeah Yeah (Radio Edit) (Bodyrox Feat. Luciana), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Magenta (Radio Edit) (Arno Cost & Arias) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. This track is full of harmonies and gets Pacha 2007 off to a relaxing start. Turn Me On (Radio Edit) (Dirty Old Ann) is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Overall a nice softer song. In Open Your Eyes (Radio Edit) (M-Factor) Dance - Various Artists spins a tale you want to hear to the end. La Discotek (Radio Edit) (D. Ramirez) on Pacha 2007 is solid and easy to listen to. The Things You Say (Dirty South Remix Edit) (Cicada) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. In Everybody’s Free (Radio Edit) (Kortezman Feat. Rozalla) Dance - Various Artists is at his best. This song is dynamic and dramatic. I’m Rushin (Dave Spoon Vocal Edit) (Bump) - A strong beat. Going Deeper (Original Deeper Edit) (Jeffray & Calmani) is one of the coolest songs Dance - Various Artists has ever recorded. Ibiza Express (Takeshi) - A classic Dance - Various Artists track. Rock This Party (Radio Edit) (Bob Sinclar & Cutee B Feat. Big Ali, Dollar Man & Naomi Goulbourne) is a song to enjoy for years to come. Slipping Away (MHC Radio Edit) (Moby) is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Pacha 2007 have ended. My Mother Says (Radio Edit) (Tom Snare) is nothing but pure genius. Love Don’t Let Me Go (Walking Away) (Tocadisco’s Acid) (David Guetta Vs The Egg) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Rockin (Benjamin Bates French Edit) (DJ Delicious Presents Phunk-A-Delic) the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. In Movin’ Up (Eddie Thoneick’s Dynamik Remix) (DJ Mike Cruz Presents Inaya Day & Chyna Ro) full palet of sound is used by Dance - Various Artists to accentuate the presentation. Aqualight (Radio Edit) (Leger & Lake) is the most memorable and astounding. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Pacha 2007. The song A Bit Party (Radio Edit) (Switch) ending is my favorite… so catchy! It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Nice and different song. Everlasting Love (Radio Edit) (Pride) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Set Me Free (Hit Makers) - For me, this is the best of the album. Dance - Various Artists sings Come Into My Life (Ron Carroll Produced By Richard Grey) in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Perceptions (Music Is Here) (Richard Grey Mix) (Kiko Navarro) is a bit of a show-tune. He Doesn’t Love You (Hooknsling Radio Edit) (Sarah Mc Leod) make listening to Dance - Various Artists like being in some sort of time warp. Lucky Heather (Radio Edit) (Nic Fanciulli) is one of the more up-tempo songs on Pacha 2007. I now have Rock Da Floor (Radio Edit) (Dub Deluxe Feat. Mc Flipside) as one of my personal favorites. If you are a Dance - Various Artists fan, you will love Moving On Stereo (Pakito). Voice and instruments in Everytime We Touch (Radio Edit) (Cascada) complement each other.
