For older fans Time on Earth will put a massive smile accross your face. Self-described as ROck: Alternative with lots of words, Crowded House comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is so much to love about Crowded House, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. If I may, I suggest “Nobody Wants To”. That one song is amazing!
Don’t Stop Now is a very catchy tune. I loved She Called Up the first time I heard it. Say That Again is pretty funky and mellow. Pour Le Monde still maintains something of a specific flourish. Even A Child is the albums biggest surprise. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Crowded House. A Sigh is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. In Silent House the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Voice and instruments in English Trees complement each other. In Walked Her Way Down full palet of sound is used by Crowded House to accentuate the presentation. This is one hell of a track. Crowded House allows each song to breathe and flourish. Put People Are Like Suns into car stereo for your highway driving
