This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Coldplay. Coldplay was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Coldplay and Parachutes together. Lead single “Don’t Panic” and “Shiver” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Oh yes, this album gets Array out of Array
In Shiver Coldplay is at his best. Spies is the more seemingly obscure song on Parachutes that bear up best to repeated listening. Strong, powerful vocals of Coldplay in Sparks are very impressive. Coldplay has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Don’t judge Trouble on the first listening. You can find feelings on this piece of art. High Speed is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Music in We Never Change is marvelous as in all tracks of Parachutes. Everything’s Not Lost is the albums biggest surprise.
