Chicago’s debut, ‘The Chicago Story: The Complete Greatest Hits (CD 1)’, does not fit easily into one genre. It’s natural for Chicago to take a stab at ‘If You Leave Me Now’ considering her long-professed love for B.B. King. While no new Chicago album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2002 tour in Africa. This album is a scorcher!
Nice and different song. You’re The Inspiration is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after The Chicago Story: The Complete Greatest Hits (CD 1) have ended. Hard Habit To Break gives good insight into the truths. Will You Still Love Me is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Look Away is the funkiest number on the album. What Kind Of Man Would I Be is Chicago’s best work in years. I Don’t Wanna Live Without Your Love rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Love Me Tomorrow is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Just You ‘n’ Me has a fun tempo. Excellent vocals and musical performances. You’re Not Alone to me is the best you can get from Chicago. Chasin’ The Wind - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Best song on the album, love it. Colour My World is the gorgeous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. You Come To My Senses pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Chicago.
