On the Cyprus charts, superstar Chevelle’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. eight years ago, Chevelle briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “I Get It”. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Chevelle energies, virtually a rebirth. Saturdays and I Get It is really good.
I Get It - A catchy, upbeat tune. Paint The Seconds - My least favorite song on this album. This song stands out greatly from the others. I listened to the opening track The Fad and liked it a lot. Humanoid is the albums biggest surprise. Straight Jacket Fashion presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Vena Sera. Saferwaters is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Musically Well Enough Alone is superior to other tracks in Vena Sera. I hope to keep hearing Chevelle works for a long time to come. Brainiac - Well, here we get a bit more meaning.
