‘The River (Special Edition) (CD 2)’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After seeing Point Blank, I had to have a good Bruce Springsteen cd. It has been ten years Bruce Springsteen’ last studio CD, “The River (Special Edition) (CD 2)” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This album is in perfect progression from Bruce Springsteen!
As always, Bruce Springsteen’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. I’m A Rocker is a bit of a show-tune. Fade Away is a fine track on any terms. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Ramrod is another favourite of mine. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The River (Special Edition) (CD 2). It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Wreck On The Highway (3:54) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
