There is no doubt that Bruce Springsteen has talent. This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Bruce Springsteen has. I am not a real Rock: Pop-Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The Essential (CD 1)’ really is amazing. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Bruce Springsteen ever.
For You - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. Spirit In The Night - A catchy, upbeat tune. 4th Of July, Asbury Park (Sandy) is another strong production from Bruce Springsteen. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in The Essential (CD 1). Thunder Road is marvelous work of Bruce Springsteen. Born To Run presents the exquisite mix of instruments on The Essential (CD 1). Jungleland is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Badlands still maintains something of a specific flourish. In Darkness On The Edge Of Town it becomes nowhere more obvious that Bruce Springsteen has yet to define own style. The Promised Land pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. The opening track The River is very much like you would expect from other albums. Once Hungry Heart gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. One listen to the sheer beauty of Nebraska was all I needed. Nice and different song.
