This album has some very good songs like Thunder Road and Tenth Avenue Freeze Out. Since completing 1977’s ‘Thunder Road’, Bruce Springsteen fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This disc has all of the essential Bruce Springsteen classics. IT makes me wanna dance!
Tenth Avenue Freeze Out - Check out that bassline! In Night you won’t find any flashy solos. Backstreets is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Born To Run I just LOVE this mix! She’s The One is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. After you’ve listened to Meeting Across The River, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Jungleland is simple, dignified and effective, Bruce Springsteen refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more.
