It’s natural for Bright Eyes to take a stab at ‘Clairaudients (Kill or Be Killed)’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. Bright Eyes’s debut, ‘Cassadaga’, does not fit easily into one genre. When you buy a Bright Eyes album, you know exactly what you’re getting! It is very deep stuff - very exciting
Classic Cars is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Cleanse Song makes a person feel perfect. I like Coat Check Dream Song because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Four Winds is pretty funky and mellow. Hot Knives is a very catchy tune. I Must Belong Somewhere is one of the more up-tempo songs on Cassadaga. If The Brakeman Turns My Way motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Lime Tree one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Make A Plan To Love Me is really the reason why I recommend buying Cassadaga. Charming song, great melody. No One Would Riot For Less has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Bright Eyes’s strong vocals come to the fore. I believe Soul Singer In A Session Band is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written.
