Time Well Wasted isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Lead single “The World” and “Alcohol” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Since completing 2005’s ‘The World’, Brad Paisley fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Last Hot Album by Brad Paisley
Listening to Alcohol you can hear that Brad Paisley has still amazing chemistry with band members. Waitin On A Woman is the albums biggest surprise. Ill Take You Back is outstanding work of Brad Paisley. Shes Everything is the most memorable and exquisite. I believe You Need A Man Around Here is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. In Out In The Parkin Lot (With Alan Jackson) you won’t find any flashy solos. Brad Paisley sings his heart out in Rainin You. Flowers is absolutely incredible. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The Uncloudy Day is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. When I Get Where Im Going (With Dolly Parton) - My least favorite song on this album. Easy Money has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Time Warp is simple, dignified and effective, Brad Paisley refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Time Well Wasted presents the perfect mix of instruments on Time Well Wasted. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Time Well Wasted is Cornography Feat James Burton and The Kung Pao Buckaroos 1. Cornography Feat James Burton and The Kung Pao Buckaroos 2 on Time Well Wasted is solid and easy to listen to. Time Well Wasted couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Cornography Feat James Burton and The Kung Pao Buckaroos 3. Cornography Feat James Burton and The Kung Pao Buckaroos 4 is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Brad Paisley released so far. Brad Paisley allows each song to breathe and flourish. This song stands out greatly from the others.
