I am not a real Rock music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Foiled’ really is amazing. Since completing 2006’s ‘You Make Me Smile’, Blue October fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Blue October was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Blue October and Foiled together. Foiled is preety good and all the songs have a good meaning behind them.
She’s My Ride Home the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Into the Ocean. What if We Could is a bit of a show-tune. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Hate Me. Let it Go - A catchy, upbeat tune. From the moment you listen to Congratulations (Feat. Imogen Heap) you’re hooked. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Drilled A Wire Through My Cheek is just simply stunning. Sound of Pulling Heaven Down (4:43) a good melody. Everlasting Friend is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor.
