After seeing Morning Yearning, I had to have a good Ben Harper cd. On the Germany charts, superstar Ben Harper’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Lead single “Morning Yearning” and “Waiting For You” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Both Sides Of The Gun is not something you should pass up.
I can’t stop playing Waiting For You. Picture In A Frame is marvelous and different song. I’ve found myself listening to Never Leave Lonely back to back and back many times. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Reason To Mourn is a very catchy tune. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Ben Harper rocks harder than ever with Happy Everafter In Your Eyes.
