This is one of the best Cd’s B.B.King has dropped to date. This disc has all of the essential B.B.King classics. There is no doubt that B.B.King has talent. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Please Love Me
Best song on the album, love it. B.B.King is hitting on all cylinders in You Upset Me Baby. Sweet Sixteen, Parts One & Two - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of B.B.King. Rock Me Baby is the gorgeous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Song Every Day I Have The Blues (Live) is actually a funny song. Sweet Little Angel (Live) is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Don’t Answer The Door is one of these floating songs. Paying The Cost To Be The Boss catches attention immediately, The Thrill Is Gone is really the reason why I recommend buying The Ultimate Collection. I find myself hearing bits of Nobody Loves Me But My Mother here and there throughout my waking hours. The sound of Chains And Things is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. The opening track Ain’t Nobody Home is very much like you would expect from other albums. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of B.B.King. Never Make A Move Too Soon (5:31) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Better Not Look Down was the first single release from the album The Ultimate Collection. There Must Be A Better World Somewhere - Okay, I just talked about depth. When Love Comes To Town (7” Version) is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Ten Long Years is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything B.B.King released so far. I’ll Survive is probably the highlight of the album.
