This fifteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Audioslave has. Now signed to Audioslave’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Audioslave” leads Audioslave’s back-to-school campaign. This is the first studio album from Audioslave since bad diagnosis in 2002. Audioslave touched my soul like nothing else.
Nice and different song. Audioslave is one of artists that allow his songs like Gasoline to stand on their own and be heard. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Like A Stone is a bit of a show-tune. Set It Off - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. If you are a Audioslave fan, you will love I Am The Highway. Exploder make listening to Audioslave like being in some sort of time warp. Hypnotize is probably the most interesting track on Audioslave. The first time I listened to Bring Em Back Alive I was struck by its cool sound. I hope to keep hearing Audioslave works for a long time to come. Getaway Car is the first taste of the new album. The Last Remaining Light - This one is lively and fun.
