On the Denmark charts, superstar Arctic Monkeys’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. For older fans Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not will put a massive smile accross your face. There is so much to love about Arctic Monkeys, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Great Indie right here!
I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor (2:54) - awsome. In Fake Tales Of San Francisco full palet of sound is used by Arctic Monkeys to accentuate the presentation. Dancing Shoes is the albums biggest surprise. Music and lyrics of Still Take You Home creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Riot Van presents the gorgeous mix of instruments on Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not. In Red Light Indicates Doors Are Secured the music gets its power. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Perhaps Vampires Is A Bit Strong But.. marked the continuation of Arctic Monkeys in style evolution. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. From The Ritz To The Rubble is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. I listened to the opening track A Certain Romance and liked it a lot.
