Andrew Bird Armchair Apocrypha MP3

Andrew Bird Armchair Apocrypha imageThere is so much to love about Andrew Bird, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It has been fourteen years Andrew Bird’ last studio CD, “Armchair Apocrypha” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. While no new Andrew Bird album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2007 tour in North America. It is very deep stuff - very exciting

Imitosis - I just love it. This track is a great song that still never gets old. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Andrew Bird. In Armchairs the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. In Darkmatter it becomes nowhere more obvious that Andrew Bird has yet to define own style. Simple X is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. A unique and uplifting song. Cataracts rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. No Andrew Bird song has come close to capturing my attention as Scythian Empires did. Spare-Ohs is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. After about the third Yawn At The Apocalypse listen through, I began to believe this song is Andrew Bird’s essence.
