Now signed to Alicia Keys’s Sparrow Records, the title track from second album “The Diary of Alicia Keys” leads Alicia Keys’s back-to-school campaign. Thom Yorke has compared writing for Alicia Keys’s new album to that on ‘The Diary of Alicia Keys’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Alicia Keys energies, virtually a rebirth. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Diary of Alicia Keys.
Nice and different song. Heartburn is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. If I Was Your Woman - Walk On B is another strong production from Alicia Keys. I came to like You Don’t Know My Name. If I Ain’t Got You is simple, dignified and effective, Alicia Keys refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. In Diary (feat Tony Toni Tone) it becomes nowhere more obvious that Alicia Keys has yet to define own style. Dragon Days is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Alicia Keys sings his heart out in Wake Up. Still going through The Diary of Alicia Keys and coming to appreciate So Simple more and more with every listen. When You Really Love Someone is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Feeling U, Feeling Me. Only one song from The Diary of Alicia Keys named Slow Down really got me. Samsonite Man is another favourite of mine. Nobody Not Really is really a nice song to relax and listen too. If I Ain’t Got You (Remix; Usher & Alicia Keys…) is marvelous song though, very addictive. If I Ain’t Got You (Spanish Version…) - A catchy, upbeat tune. If I Ain’t Got You (Kanye West Remix…) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Alicia Keys is all about. I was truly moved when I heard You Don’t Know My Name - Will You Ever Know It (Reggae Mix…). My Boo (Usher & Alicia Keys) is one of my favorite songs by Alicia Keys. If I Ain’t Got You (Piano Vocal Version…) is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through The Diary of Alicia Keys.
