For older fans Dirt will put a massive smile accross your face. Alice In Chains’s debut, ‘Dirt’, does not fit easily into one genre. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Alice In Chains’s album Dirt falls to No. 2 with 596,000, a sales slide of 95%. Such great and happy songs.
Dam That River (3:09) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Rain When I Die is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Dirt. I was truly moved when I heard Sickman. Rooster is the albums biggest surprise. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Dirt is Dirt. God Smack - arguably the best track on Dirt album. Hate To Feel have really caught my ear and imagination. Angry Chair is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Down In A Hole defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. After few listenings I started to like Would more and more. One listen to the sheer beauty of Bonus was all I needed.
