This is one of the best Cd’s Alanis Morissette has dropped to date. The Collection is an amazing album, racked with beauty.While no new Alanis Morissette album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2005 tour in Europe. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Collection.
Head Over Feet is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. 8 Easy Steps is a perfect sing-along. Everything - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Crazy is Alanis Morissette’s best work in years. Ironic is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. I like the idea behind Princes Familiar (MTV Unplugged). You Learn - Check out that bassline! Nice and different song. In You Oughta Know full palet of sound is used by Alanis Morissette to accentuate the presentation. Music in That I Would Be Good is cool as in all tracks of The Collection. Sister Blister is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Charming song, great melody. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Alanis Morissette. Still is a medium tempo tune. This track is full of harmonies and gets The Collection off to a relaxing start. Let’s Do It (Let’s Fall In Love) is probably the highlight of the album. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists.
