Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of AC/DC on ‘For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)’. Since completing 1981’s ‘For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)’, AC/DC fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of AC/DC energies, virtually a rebirth. If I may, I suggest “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)”. That one song is amazing!
Put The Finger On You is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Song Let’s Get It Up is actually a funny song. Inject The Venom is the albums biggest surprise. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. The sound of Evol Walks is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. C.O.D. has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. AC/DC sings his heart out in Breaking The Rules. Night Of The Long Knives is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. If you are a AC/DC fan, you will love Spellbound.
